The Process

From sketch to signature piece

Every Ancona piece passes through the same four hands-on stages.

  1. Design

    We start from a drawing and the customer's intent — a classic to live in, or a one-of-one to remember.

  2. Cast & Form

    Gold is cast and chains are built link by link in our own workshop.

  3. Set & Finish

    Stones are set by hand and each surface is polished until the light sits right.

  4. Inspect & Present

    Every piece is checked, cleaned, and packaged ready to give.

Where is your jewelry made?

Ancona Fine Jewelry is a twin-led studio in New York's Diamond District — two trained eyes at the bench, one shared standard. Chains and custom pieces are cast, assembled, and finished in-house in our own workshop.

What karat gold do you offer?

Our gold pieces span 10K, 14K, and 18K solid gold. Not sure which is right for you? Read the Gold Karat Guide.

Do you take custom commissions?

Yes. We design and cast custom pieces in-house, from CAD to finished jewelry. Contact us to start the conversation.

What is your return policy?

Returns are accepted for items that arrive materially defective, damaged in transit, or incorrect. Contact us within 48 hours of delivery with your order number and photos. Full details in our Return & Refund Policy.

How does shipping work?

Shipping options and costs are shown at checkout, and every order ships with tracking. Custom and made-to-order pieces need additional production time. See our Shipping Policy.

How should I care for my jewelry?

Store each piece separately in a soft pouch, avoid perfume, lotion, chlorine, and water, and wipe gently with a soft, dry cloth after wear. More in the Jewelry Care Guide.
